FROADER's 2020 JTR - And yes, it's white...

This is my first Jeep and it's replacing a 2006 GX470 (2nd pic). I wanted a mid-sized truck with a solid axle so this was basically the choice I had. I've had it for just over a year and so far, I'm digging it.

I bought it from the a local dealer, so I spent more than I should have, but it had to be the cleanest 2020 there was. It couldn't have ever been in the dirt, the underside was so clean.

It was about 2 months later, I found an AEV 2" leveling kit from a dude local to me for a smokin' deal. I ended up putting on only the front spacers to try to actually level it when I got the wheels and tires. I put a Warn winch mount up front with my VR 12-S with a Sindwinder "hook" as my bumper. The next thing is a Lone Peak Overland camper, which I think I may have just made a deal with a member on here to buying his since he's changing from his Gladiator to a full-size rig. After that is re-gearing and a "real" lift, then it should be good. I'm sure I'll add little odds and ends, but until I can afford tons, that's all I'll be doing for a while.

I have grade 8 bolts in this now. I didn't have any when I installed it, then went to the hardware store to get some.

That's a very spartan bumper your running!
I may fab a small "stinger" off of it, but we'll see.

I got the Lone Peak Overland camper and a bed storage system this past weekend. My son and I went to pick it up from a member here, and drove back towards home, but stopped by Pismo Beach for a photo op (no available campsites) and continued to our spot for the night in Sycamore Canyon in Oxnard. We already love this thing.

I really need to get my lift installed with the extra weight on the back now... I also need to figure out what shocks to use in the rear. I'll take any suggestions you guys may have that have the experience with a camper on the back.

Got the MetalCloak 3.5” Game Changer installed this weekend. It was too hot to be working in the driveway, but we got it done. I went with Bilstein 5100s for now. I may eventually get something adjustable, but we'll see.

It looks like I still need something in the rear. Maybe HD springs or air bags..?

Next is gears and then it will be "done" for a while.

Looks great but you MUST tell us more about that Mini! That looks amazing!
It’s not mine but my friend’s that was helping install the lift. It’s completely custom with a suspension he designed, he is in the middle of a K swap (Honda 2.4L) and a few other details before it’s ready to rip this winter season.
