Hello all,

I have been getting a grundle of calls asking about the Scepter water cans and their availability. Gas cans too, for that matter. I used to carry both back when both were available. Anyway, I know the water cans are getting tough to find so I thought I would bring this to your attention.

Front Runner makes one incredibly nice 20L Jerry water can, made of a similar thickness food grade plastic. The unique part is the recessed spout. The ball valve spout is tucked into the corner, allowing you pour your valuable liquid without tipping the can. Pretty slick.

We have them in stock. $55 each. Just an FYI.

Here are some photos. The spouts are white on the ones here in the US

Cheers,

Moody

Needs to get out more
I've got two on a Fedex truck en route to my house. Look for a little 'review' action after next week's trip to S. Utah in the Moodymobile.

And there's your better mousetrap! Brilliant. I really need to add some jerry can holders to the Jeep :)

Now - for the $1,000,000 question...

Will they fit in a regular sized Jerry Can Holder (ex. AT Jerry Can Holder / ExpeditionWare Jerry Can Holder)???

Right on Paul, i might have to grab one of those.

That's like the one that Man-a-fre used to import. I tried for the life of me to get them to bring them back, but i guess it wasn't worth it for them.

Fits perfect in the Kaymar rear swing out..

Paul will you be bringing any to the Overland Expo. I would like to pick one up if you are bringing some down.

Thanks

Paul,
What are the dimensions? And can the spout be turned 90 degrees. I would like to lay the can flat.
Thanks.

It looks like laying the can flat will mean you can't vent it until it is half empty. May cause slow flow unless the sides are super flexible...

How do these work in the field? I like the idea, but I'll need to store this upright and I'm concerned about the valve vibrating open on the washboard roads.

The valve is so tight to turn, that at cold weather I need a pliers to turn it off/on! almost a pain, but it's secured for sure!
no chance for it to vibrate open!
