This Xterra drives like a dream - no joke. It'll drive to Moab, you can wheel Moab, and then drive it home. I built this as an Overland "Expedition" type vehicle and it has performed flawlessly.

When converting to the Solid Axle front, the biggest issue we faced was retaining the factory ABS, traction control, and speedometer. That was achieved by using axles from the newer Jeep JK Rubicon's that have the same systems. There are no lights on the dash - well, except the tire pressure light - no sensors.

The bad:
It will NOT pass emissions. I'm in Clear Creek county where emission testing is not required. Installation of catalytic converters is the responsibility of the buyer.

It has a few dents and dings - However, overall the body is in great shape. The paint is scratched...pretty much the entire truck except the roof and rear hatch.

The fuel gauge does not work properly. The fuel level sensor needs to be replaced. I calculate my gas mileage and gallons to empty via the Scan Gauge II

Serious inquiries only. $17K FIRM.

I don't travel nearly as much as I'd like to anymore. Time for me to build a rock buggy and get a tow rig.

I haven't shown this to the wife yet, but would you consider my rig as a partial trade? If she's gonna go for it, she'll need to see a lot more pics. You know, the usual FS pics. Close ups all the way around, interior, seats, etc.

Thanks,

Your runner is sweet and I'd be up for a partial trade - but I already have a '84 720 sitting on toy axles and 35's. I really need a tow rig - so if anyone has a Dirtymax or Cummins, I'd wheel and deal for one of those.

I should also mention that i'd be willing to trade for a very lightly modified or stock Xterra + cash - I'd then just trade in the stocker.

I think I saw you driving by C470 and 285, and I nearly crashed turning around to check out the SAS! Very nice job!
