Looking for a 100% FULLY sorted 950SE, this is the one! Everything has been done. Here's the dirty details:

- Canisterectomy: Block-off plates and SAS delete
- Re-jetted carbs
- Akropovic Titanium dual mufflers
- Reinforced subframe (luggage ready)
- Ricks Motorsports MOSFET voltage regulator (relocated)
- Seat Concepts custom seat
- CJ Designs Water Pump shaft/seal upgrade
- Custom (full coverage) skidplate
- Scotts Steering Damper and upper triple clamp
- Black powder-coated lower triple clamp (to match upper)
- Scotts Stainless oil filter
- Motorex Synthetic 10-50 CrossPower oil exclusively
- Dr. Bean fuel pump upgrade
- Kaoko Throttle control (mechanical cruise control)
- Acerbis reinforced Supermoto hand-guards
- Factory passenger foot pegs
- Touratech luggage tail plate
- Touratech exhaust header heat shield
- Center stand
- 690 windscreen
- FMF Spark Arrestors
- Shorai Battery

Here's the big question I expect: "Why is the frame black?" The original owner (purchased from Motoprimo in MN in 2007) ordered the bike and immediately conducted a full dealer tear-down to have the frame re-coated in a satin metallic black.Apparently, his entire fleet of bikes was black. What he started, I finished. The bike is currently wearing pristine plastics and decals, in the original orange livery, ready for sale. The bike comes with multiple sets of bodywork in both black and orange, in varying states of condition.

The bike also comes with three fuel tanks, two factory tanks and one large Safari tank. For the two small tanks, I keep one clean tank (on the bike currently) for street use only. When I swap the bike over for dirt use, I use the scuffed up small tank. Both of these tanks are matched to the factory key. With regards to the Safari tank, I use this when doing long distance touring. Fuel range on the small tank is ~120 miles. The Safari tank will exceed 250 miles.

I have always run Motorex Synthetic in this machine. Up until the last oil change (done April 2015), I used KTM paper filters. In the attached photo gallery, I have well documented the last oil change so you can see the overall condition of the engine internals and screens. It's pristine. I replaced the paper filter with a Scott's Stainless reusable filter because I was given one recently by a Scott's rep. But, as you can see from the condition of the paper filer (no pleat waves), their is no presence of water in the oil. I have run nearly 8K trouble free miles since the CJ Designs shaft/seal water-pump upgrade.

The previous owner boxed in the aluminum sub-frame as a precaution against known issues of stress cracks. While the workmanship might not be cosmetically perfect, the result is 100% effective. The entire rear sub-frame reinforced and flawlessly carried a 90lb load for hundreds of miles off-road on several epic journeys.

Both upgrades to the fuel pump and Voltage Regulator were done preemptively. The bikes comes with the original fuel pump points (in excellent condition) and the original voltage regulator (in excellent condition).

When I installed the Scott's Steering Damper (which works like magic on this bike), it bothered me that the upper triple clamp was black and the lower triple clamp was still natural cast aluminum. Hence, I had the lower triple clamps custom powder coated to match the upper. That also worked well with the black 690 Super Enduro fender - which is exactly the same as the 950 fender, but in black.

Again, I'm sure I'm forgetting things, so feel free to ask questions.

Okay, down to the knitty-gritty. The bike has 13K miles and I'm asking $10K, for everything. Am I flexible? Absolutely. But, if you want to negotiate, expect that I will remove items like the Safari tank, Scott's Steering Damper, custom skid plate, etc. I can easily sell these parts on eBay and make up the difference, but that's a hassle and I'd rather send it all as a nice, tidy package. So $10K takes it all, and for that price, I'll also throw in a matched set of gray Giant Loop luggage (Great Basin tail bag and Diablo tank bag).

This is a 100% turnkey RTW adventure bike. I would not hesitate for someone to fly to California to pick up this bike and immediately leave on a years-long RTW trip. It's fully sorted.

With all that said, here's a link to the online gallery. Questions? Ask away.

Your bike looks gorgeous!

Thanks. It's been my joy for the last several years, but I'm just not using it like it needs to be used. With family, I'd rather get into a Jeep so I can explore, but bring my kids along for the adventure. Only so many dollars and so much garage space to go around.
