I bought this hardshell RTT from ChandlerDoom who is her on expo, T4R and also Tacoma world. He ran 5 cycles of the group buy for this style of a tent as well as a traditional popup hardshell and I believe actually just finished delivering the 5th round. Never the less, I bought this from him last fall and used it across the winter about 20-25 nights down to 8 deg F and it was great. I drove from Illinois out to California and back. Since then it's been sitting in my garage stored and I don't see that changing anytime soon as life changes have come into Play.
I bought a brand new 3" memory foam mattress topper and put it in there before I even used it again so that is new and is included along with the original mattress. Ther original mattress always had sheets on it so its "like new." The tent has a few scuffs from being moved around in my garage and actually at some point got cracked while being stored. I honestly am not a 100% sure how it happened however, I think my wife tapped it with a tire on her Lexus. I did a plastic weld repair inside and out and then laid down some fiberglass drywall tape and wetted that out with epoxy over it. It is not the most amazing looking repair, however, I had the tent on my 4 Runner for 2 weeks after that in drenching rains and no problems. I managed to get out for 2 days in it after the rains and repair and it is still holding as well with no leaks. I never had any condensation issues with the tent and also found it didn't get too hot even though it was black given that you tend to get more breeze in a RTT anyways. I had an ARB Simpson III before this and switched over for the ease of setup. This tent is definitely easy as its just two straps and its setup all of 30 seconds.
I'm located in Jacksonville IL. 62650 and may be able to travel a little, however, between family, full-time work and going back to school full-time I cannot guarantee it but I will try to accommodate what I can. I would like $1100 for the tent. Please let me know if you have any questions and I'm happy to take more photos if there is something specific anyone would like to see.
