I have this mounted in my 5th gen 4Runner, I am located in Tucson, AZ looking for $650 OBO NEGOTIABLE I am motivated to move this and try another storage optionThe last photo doesn't show the drawer opened all the way, it comes out pretty far and has tons of storage space and is full accessible. Needed to clarify that since the picture is misleading DIMENSIONS: 41.5" wide 33.5" deep and 15.25" tall
The skeleton of the box is constructed from 16 guage square tubing of various sizes depending on the funtion needed in the construction. The skin of the box and the drawer is 16 guage cold roll steel. There is a three point flush mount T-handle locking mechanism and the drawer slides I will be using are Accuride or Kape and Vogt extra heavy duty slides. It has a seal around where the drawer and box mate to keep dust and what not out (you guys that have also been in the sand box know how sand gets into any small crevice) it also has towards the front of the drawer three equal length area's for ammo cans, .308 and 5.56mm magazines and the next row is the width of the drawer and maybe 5 inch deep to accommodate a M1A SOCOM 16 or M4, I keep my SCAR17 there.
to uninstall the entire box you remove 6 bolts that attach the box to the mounting plate which has 6 nuts welded to it and the plate is bolted through the sheet metal of the truck (which I am keeping mounted to my 4Runner) This way you can take the box out if needed and the mounting plate stays behind instead of crawling under the truck but you still need to gain access to remove the drawer to get at the 6 bolts so it can't be stolen even if you removed the four nuts under the truck holding the plate down.
