Fs: Tenchi Top RTT

I never thought I sell this tent but I'm getting a AirTop soon and I don't need two. This tent is in great shape no rips, tares or funny smells. Always used a sheet on top of the mattress pad. Just added a 1.5" memory foam on top of the standard foam top. Only real issue is the cover shows its age. It still work great, has 2 small holes. The cover on the Tenchi Top are really just to cover the plastic. The tent its self is completely sealed within the hard plastic case. I called African Outback products and can still get the covers for about 120 rand...which I think is about $70 I think.

It has the older style mounting system which is for points of attachment with a single bolt. They work great on the Front Runner Tent mounts. Or when it was on my trailer I just mounted them directly to some Thule cross bars.

$1200. Not really looking to ship unless the buyer sets is all up (Sorry just don't have the time). NEW PRICE $1000

Feel free to call with any questions.

Thanks

Ian

Hey... Sorry to sneak in on your sale but would you do me a HUGE favor. My Technitop only has the first section of ladder and I don't know what its really supposed to look like. Could you take some pics of yours for me? Pleaseeeee! :)

Do you need a picture of the section mounted to the base? Or the loose ladder that attaches to that section.

Both if its not a big deal but mostly the part not attached to the tent half. For some reason mine was new but didn't come with it. :( I'm thinking I may try and build one since it takes a while to get a replacement one sent here to Germany. Any help/pics would be awesome! And thanks in advance! :)

And by the way to folks looking... I really like my tent so far. Its very spacious and sets up pretty easy once you do it a couple times. The "hard" outter shell is nice, thick ABS type plastic so tree branches and stuff don't really worry me. It will either deflect or maybe pick up a scar but no cracking like fiber glass. I do need to order a soft cover for mine though to make it look cool. Heehee!

Im getting old! :(
If you were in the midwest region I would likely take it. Can I ask where you purchased the Tent? Is there any current US vendors? Thanks and good luck!!

No there are no current African Outback vendors. Slee offroad was where I got the tent when they carried them. When inquiring about a new cover with their home office in South Africa they said they were working on getting a new US distributor. But would at least be a year out.

Maybe someone can past the article from OJ ranking this tent as their top pick versus the Eezi Awns and the like. These tents are not the inexpensive chinese ones. The materials and fit and finish are top notch.
