FSM update

Michael Brown

You followed me, so now we're both lost
The Gen 3 FSM that I have has a collection of PDFs that are hyperlinked in the index. I use the index to find the part and click on the relevant page number to the right. It then opens the PDF module with that section. Is this what you are wanting?

Michael Brown: yep, that’s the idea.
My FSM is two static PDF’s, cut about at the halfway point. They are just scanned images of hard copies. None of the content is searchable as it is just an image. I have a PDF editor and I could add the page reference and page title as dynamic text to each page. Once this is done you could Crtl-F search (or hyperlink, even better) for page numbers or titles and jump immediately to that page vs. using Pg-Up / Pg-Dn or scrolling (which is super annoying when you are on a project and jumping between sections)
Other keywords could also be added to section titles to make basic keyword searches also possible.

This is a great idea. I converted my FSM PDFs to make texts searchable with Adobe Pro (when I had it). Due to the quality of the scans not 100% of the texts were searchable, but does its job.
