Fuel Transfer Problems

Anyone have a pump wired in to pump from their fuel storage to their main tank?
I hope that wouldn’t be a problem for me later on…?

I was planning on just using a siphon to pull fuel from my jerry cans to my tank, but I am thinking about wiring in a pump on a toggle switch.

I hope this makes sense to someone here …?

I just recently wired in a Carter P4070 to pump my aux diesel into my stock diesel tank, on a toggle switch. After decades of hoisting jerry cans, then a very basic side-mounted tank with a siphon hose and a rechargeable stick pump, it’s very luxurious and clean

Not too clear on what the question is though? FWIW my 4070 draws 4.5 amps while running, rated for about 0.8 gal/min, but it’s a bit bigger and heavier than I was expecting. And again, this is diesel not gas.

Bought this 12V Fill-Rite kit, use to direct transfer from jerry cans to the main tank. Should note the power cord is only 10 ft and we had to extend it.
