Fujifilm to update X10 sensor
The Fujifilm X10 has one well-documented issue with its fancy sensor: White discs can appear in the image under certain conditions. No, it's not an issue for Ghost Hunters TV. Fujifilm has developed a firmware update, available now, to reduce the problem, and they are working on a replacement sensor that should be available in May.

I owned a GRD for a while. I had the film version (GR1) and loved it.
However, I was disappointed with the image quality of the GRD and sold it. Much happier with my Panasonic LX5

I do enjoy the X10, but mostly just looking at it. It has a wonderful style and weight to it. It is more compact than I expected but feels no less sturdy and well constructed. I wonder if a camera inspires us with the way it looks, it helps us take better images? I suspect it is like any other well-made, well-designed tool - it makes us a little more thoughtful when using it.

Absolutely! and currently the Olympus OM-D is stimulating more thought than my 5DMII..

I'm really amped over this camera. I'm on the Amazon pre-order list. Should take delivery mid April. (happy birthday to me.) Can't wait to get my hands on it. Haven't been this excited about a piece of camera gear since I got my Nikon 28TI so many years ago.
