I'm considering the MetalCloaks. Any long term experience out there?

Are you referring to the control arms? If so, I can say that I still very much like mine. They appear to be holding up well, but it would've been nice if they were a tick longer. My truck only has a 2.5" leveling kit up front and the arms only look to be moving the axle to juuuuust barely the stock location. I would've preferred a bit more forward axle placement. Not sure if that would cause any track bar or pitman arm interference, but it's something I would look into a bit more closely if I were to do it again. I bet if I lowered it, I'd get the axle location I wanted.

2000 RAM 2500 Diesel with custom camper. Rear bumper mostly done, Front bumper started but not installed. I love this truck and will never part ways with it!

Aside from adjustable control arms,most aftermarket ca's are +1/2"

That sounds about right. 1" or so is what I would've preferred in hindsight.

Fantastic! Do you have a build thread on your camper?

I have a few pics in other posts...I plan to do a full thread when family life slows a bit...two kids in sports, one graduating, etc...chaos at the moment! HAHA
If you have questions, just let me know. This build was intended to be a "can I do it" thing. Next, planning a new one out of composite and aluminum, and pop-up.

Nice truck and camper. Looks similar to a Callen.

I totally built it based of the Callen!! I looked around for a used one, and beat up ones were minimum $2500. I built this brand new for that price. I changed things that I didn't like on theirs...like how the rear doors lock and secure. Thanks for the comment!

I had three Callens on three trucks before the Northstar. The rear doors do lack for a good seal.

Absolutely love it! When will they be for sale? I think the only thing I can see about that that I don't care for is the square wheel wells. Tires are round, Rams wheel wells are round, and your rear wheel openings are square. It throws it off a bit for me, but other than that it is perfect IMO.

They should be available soon for sale. This was one of the first prototypes, but it is my understanding that the production models will be out shortly!
