We own a 2004 F150 Lariat SuperCrew, It has an electronically shifted transfer-case. I used the truck to pull a tree-stump the other day. Took some finangling to get it into low-range. It usually does. But! this time, it took me hours to get it out of low-range! I hate that electric shift (I hate that truck!). I took it to the dealer, and they told me there is nothing wrong with it. B.S.!!!

I can not wait to get my 1989 Dodge-Ramcharger-Cummins-conversion done, so I never have to use that Ford, glorified car, like a truck again.
My buddy used to have to switch his o3 ranger into 4 hi or low with a pair of pliers lol. absolute junk.

Here's a few truck oriented pics from my outings. Overall I think it's the best "all in one" platform for everyday and backcountry use.

Where is the last pic taken? Looks like the Highline Rd near Seton Portage.

Nice truck, by the way!

I can't believe you didn't call...

Next time I will! I'd love to have some local advice on where to explore around there. We have timeshare in Whistler in early Sept. Last few years we've traded to other places since it overlapped with the school year (kids) though so it may be a while.

I cranked my torsion bars in the front for a 2" level and then replaced the front shocks with longer Rancho RS5000's. The tires are 315/70/17's (basically 35's) on American Outlaw "Bunker" wheels. Thanks for the complements. Plans are for a camper shell, in bed sleeping platform with storage, dual batteries, on board air, build bumpers front and rear, sliders, winch, roof rack, hot water shower, electric fridge, onboard water storage, swing out tire carrier, 4:56 gears, an ARB locker in the rear, and possibly a roof top tent.

I'm still putting ideas together and sourcing parts. I probably wont start on any of it till after the new year but was thinking about a build thread when I do. For now I'm just soaking in all the info on this great site. I used to have a 95 4 Runner on 35's, with gears and lockers that my wife and I did a lot of camping out of. Have a kid now and would like a more self contained set up with water, power, air, and what not.
