CNC router had a breakdown and I didn't get the composite panels cut.

It's going to be a while longer until I can replace the temporary cabinets I have in there right now.

Did the Interior wiring this weekend, LED lights and 12 volt outlets. I'll have pictures in a day or two.

I hope your CNC router gets up and running soon. They can be a pain to deal with when theres a problem.

I'll be switching out to BFG AT's 285/75/16 hopefully tomorrow.

Nice selection; they'll look and perform to your earlier described criteria. Really durable, too.

Maybe you can build a Full-size Expedition BigFoot Concept Truck with 54" Michelins later...

We get the steps through the manufacturer CR Brophy. Would be happy to order some for you.

Excessively shallow break-over angle would be the only reason that I'd consider a lift. A mild lift might yield a decent change w/o making working out of it much more difficult. No experience there, just offering some food for thought.

I agree, approx 33" tire is enough and will keep the gearing/performance where it should be. With a good/proper tire those trucks will go places than most are willing to take them.

I whole heartedly agree, My truck has been places people that a typical stock XJ would only dream about.

A couple of pictures before we head off to Hollister.

From what I gather there is no cell coverage or internet at Hollister so more updates will have to occur next week.

Thank you for posting this build. I have a very similar truck (2001 f250 ccsb v10) and will be following your progress with enthusiasm.

It was great seeing the truck up close at the Rally. Very functional and well built. Question: I noticed that you raised the shell in order to install the tie-down/gear system. How are you planning on covering the gap between the shell's hatch and the tailgate created by lifting the shell about 1-1/2"? Cheers! :sombrero:

It's still a work in progress. The Super Duty Fords have a taller roof line than the F150's so the shell needed to be lifted 1.5" to clear the cab roof. After SEMA I'll be having the AT FlipPac reworked with longer side walls and the hatch will be lowered.

As it stands right now the seal between the rear hatch and the tailgate is dust proof, which amazed me :sombrero:

Fitting with the concept of having the truck be multi-purpose, here you can see the truck in expedition clothing towing our horse trailer. Took all summer to find a trailer tall enough to tow our 17.2 hand horse.
