30 bucks a pop! w/ nozzle!

I'm very interested in these, but they didn't have any in two different HF stores I checked last weekend. If you bought some, can you find the part number on either your receipt or the side of the container?

If you didn't get any, can you say how you found them? When I go to the store and ask for assistance they look at me like I'm from space.

Why not just get these at $36 each. You can get (4) shipped plus a stainless nozzle SHIPPED for $127:

http://www.deutscheoptik.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=1030 ? I bought (4) and they still ship to California !

(The yellow paint pretty much comes right off and or just spray over them with some OD spray paint)

NATO cans can still be found in California for low prices. I picked up 3 recently at a surplus store in Burbank for $15 each. The same store receives them from time to time, you just need to check in from time to time.

Oh and before anyone asks, they are in great shape or I wouldn't have bought them.

Those cans that HF is selling look to be Midwest Can not Wedco/Briggs and Stratton. Just another manufacturer of NATO style jerry cans.

Is that the army surplus store on Victory?

Yep, same one. Like I mentioned you just need to pop in from time to time.
BTW, if you are familiar with Burbank you need to check out Luky's Hardware on Burbank Blvd west of Hollywood Wy. It's a fabricators dream shop.

They were one of the first CARB compliant states and helped pave the way for this new style cans along with a bunch of other states. Now CARB is a national thing.

Really?! California was one of the first CARB compliant states? Imagine that. :D :pullingyourchainsmiley :D

I have to make sceret trips to that place- costs me too much if my boys go. Thanks for the tip on Luky's, I'll have to check it out.

Harbor Freight jerry cans

I went to Harbor Freight and was advised they discontinued selling the metal jerry cans quite some time ago. The link on the website doesn't allow you to purchase either.

Maybe they are just selling any remaining inventory wherever you can find it...
