Garmin users-need your opinion

I've been using lithium AA's in my 60csx for a few years now. They're lighter than regular AA's and when used in the 60csx it floats. Some pics while cleaning salt water off of it:

I like the form factor of the 6x over the 7x as well.

Is the software from Garmin available for Mac? I have a Forerunner 305 but use their training center software which is web based. I would love a new Delorme but they do not support Mac at all so Im left with Garmin. So, their DVDs with map updates, are they Mac compatible?

I just ordered at GPSMAP 62s. Going to load Great Lakes Topo on it and see what happens
