Told him i'd be leaving some time in October. Dont know the exact dates yet, but will be leaving sometime after the Outlaws Run(will be out in the desert for a week if any of you want to join me;) ) . Planing on traveling for three months. Heading over to Ireland for a while, then Scotland and northern Norway. Looking forward to it. Ready to leave this home base(Denver) of 24 years:eek:

Well, things are coming together nicely..... Got the passprot a while back. Going to order the plane tickets and such this week. Trying to decide if bus would be better than rail for Ireland..... Talking with a lady(cute) while coming back from Orange County last week on the plane was saying rail doesnt go to many places up there.... Looks like i'll have to do some more research.. Starting to count the weeks:cool:

Check out the Eurorail pass. They have a package that is rail and rental car which allows you to take the rail from point A to B, rent a car and drive to C, then take the train to D without having to worry about returning the rental car to where you got it.

Well, got the plain ticket today:victory: , along with the bus passes. A week and two days left of work:cool: .

sweeeeet. trondheim is a really cool place...i think arctic trucks (arctictrucks.com) has a shop in norway, dunno if it's in trondheim but it's worth a look if they are. also, as sparsley populated as most of norway is, you can ski by starlight (no kidding) a lot of places.

learn this song, sing it loud and proud in the bars with everyone else, as long as everyone else is singing it..."vi skal drikke, vi skal pule, vi skal sloss!" (sung to the tune of "if youre happy and you know it", that line is repeated with alcohol and gusto until nobody can stand up, for one reason or another). it got a lot of use and was very appropriate when the hockey team won a game :sombrero:...
