Very nice combo! You'll love the RRT on the Horizon. Much wiser to place it there then on your vehicle...but not all can have an off-road trailer.

24HOURSOFNEVADA Justin that tent looks huge...I love it. Did you sell your old rtt?

Yes, I sold the Overland on the Portal about a month ago. The Eezi Awn is huge when set up but compacts well when closed.

MC4X4 do you notice much drag with the rtt on the trailer

I can feel the trailer back there on any hill. This is probably due to the weight of the trailer and not the drag of the RTT. The RTT sits lower than the Jeep. So this helps out.

RTT looks great Justin. Glad I could help buy half of that RTT for ya. :wings:

Did you end up centering the RTT on the trailer? Did you add a third cross bar?

Thanks Ryan, Yes, I centered the tent on the trailer and added a third cross member. I let the back end of the tent hang over the trailer by about 4". This keeps the front of the tent from looking awkward. It probably sticks out the front about 10"

MC4X4 is there anything you would do differently with your rack, I am about to start mine.
cheers mc

Yes, there are a couple of thinks I would change. First off the rack sits to close to the hard top. I wish it was 1" higher. This would have saved me a lot of trouble trying to figure out how I was going to make the cross bars work. The hard top has a rake to it. Second, instead of installing threaded inserts into the rack for add ons I should have just welded some flat stock in the areas I thought I would be using. This would of made attaching the King Starlite XL(top sheet, black) much easier. Don't get me wrong I love my roof rack. I just think a few changes would have made for a much easier finished product.

I worked on the BajaJK today. Finally got rid of the stock subwoofer enclosure. I built a little box to fit under the rear seat. Here are some shots. I think I am going to have the box line-X. I will see how much they quote me on the price.

Hi Jack :wavey:, went for a great paddle the other day. I wish the speaker was set up like yours but it is only the subwoofer. The stock subwoofer will be movable just so I can lower the rear seats if need be. The main reason was to open up more space in the rear. I am contemplating a drawer/ Engel/ false floor for the rear.
