Ok, so after going through 3 separate pick & pull yards and finding all the driver side power mirrors broken or missing I decided to try and fix mine. Problem, can't seem to get it back together. See below.

I thought right and left spots were clips, but maybe just alignment guides.
Got the arms that screw onto the motor shaft installed but mirror just flops around

Mirror

well it is fixed until I drive it, I guess. PITA. To do it over again I wouldn't remove the mirror versus moving the mirror enough to peak inside, and epoxy the broken piece. This is how I'll fix my buddies passenger side mirror.
I had to grind down the surface of the mirror bracket to get it to fit.

I'll keep searching for a complete replacement since I'm not sure how long this will last. :sombrero:
Thanks Josh

Look almost like 80 series land cruisers
One the 80 it got a pin you need to take out look in first pic .It got rotating ball that go in back of mirror then put the two parts together and put pin back in
You can search for wobbly mirror on 80 series land cruiser

Seems like a pain in the ********. I remember it being easier when I tore it apart. Good luck finding a complete mirror soon!

Repair is holding steady so far. Even fixed a buddies 95 SR mirror by pulling out the center screw, so I could pull the assembly partially out to work on it. How is the Jeep running?

So far so good. Just did about 170 miles of trails near Pyramid Lake this past weekend with a bunch of folks. I predict I will have to do a 2.5 inch lift fairly soon seeing that for the type of trails I like, it seems to be my only heartburn with the setup. Let's just say I like it more than I expected.

Cheers.
