Thanks, we found an 09 galant raliart today In the local yard. Looked to be totaled due to minor front end hit. Got it all prepped for pull as they were closing. going back in the morning to get it the rest of the way out .

If I recall the 09 has a fair bit of Canbus in the interior side of the harness. More than likely not an issue for just running the engine. The communications link gets involved with the cars instruments and security system which the ECU needs to allow the engine to run. I have yet to deal with that on mine.
I would make sure you download the 09 service manual though.

I’m Just going to use the bottom end and splice in the injector pigtails to run the newer style injectors with my existing harness per your swap. Maybe save the mivec heads for another montero.
