Gen 2.5 Wiper Linkage

Does anyone know if the Montero Sport wiper linkage is compatible with the Gen 2.5 ?
Also if anyone has a source for linkage please share.

The part numbers aren't listed as interchangeable but look to mount in same orientation and in similar way (triangular plate with dowels). Gen 2, 2.5 Montero linkage part num is MB623301 (1st image, Hyundai 98210-H1000 my be compatible), Montero Sport (Gen 1) linkage part num is MR245213 (2nd image). The first image doesn't show it well, but the Montero linkage has a bend in the short link, while the Sport has straight links.

Am I the only one with groaning wiper linkage? I wish it had greaserts.

mine doesn't groan, but my wiper blades don't go back down when I turn them off. they stop sticking straight up. since it rains like twice a year in Arizona i don't really need wiper blades

And since the SW appears to be the only place Monteros are surviving and thriving, I’d guess not many of you guys are having wiper problems. My NE / Midwest wiper linkage has way more cycles on it.

the heat really eats the rubber off the wiper blades, but you're right the wipers down here don't get much use. the linkages still stick from age though
