Gen 2 back seat

Hey guys, I was playing around with configuration ideas last night, and came up with a question:

Is the back seat on the Gen 2 Monty supposed to recline all the way flat? I was able to get it to about 170* but not flat. The seat was slid all the way forward to the front seats and nothing was wedged underneath it. The limiting aspect seemed to be the arm rests. Am I doing something wrong? Maybe move the seats forward? It just seems a bit odd that it'd go that far but not all the way down...

Keep in mind my 95 has a solid rear bench.

Don't the wheel wells get in the way and prevent it from doing that?

On my 1998 the front seat lays down far enough to make a small bed, but a bit cramped.

Hopefully my memory serves me right. Here is my old setup

If you grab arm-res and pull toward yourself that allows to rotate them past stops and fold in front of wheel wells parallel to seat. They are spring loaded. Or you can take little plug out on the side of arm-rest and remove/re-position them.
Those nifty little details are amazing about Montero.
