Gen 3 floor mats - No weathertech or husky?

I can confirm the Westin mats are indeed pre-molded for our vehicles and not cut-to-fit. The tray is about 2" deep which will be good for snow and mud. Coverage is very good. It could go up higher on some sides but I'm not complaining. One thing that I really like is that these are made out of rubber material and not plastic like Weathertech uses.
I only have 2 negatives and both have to do with the 2nd row: 1. The 2nd row is two pieces instead of one big runner. So there is a seam that you'll need to stagger over the passenger side mat to help protect the carpet. 2. The rear part of the 2nd row mats cover the vents underneath the 2nd row bench seats. Does anyone know what these vents are for (intake or exhaust for the rear heater?) and how big of a deal it is if they are covered up? If they are important, I will just trim part of the floor mat away to keep the vents clear.

These WeatherTechs look like they're installed in an older gen Montero (not gen 3) - it would be helpful for all to list your application.These are the cut to fit weathertech mats. I think they worked out quite well. Just an option.
