Gen 3 Lift advice.

I have a 2005 Montero Limited and I'm looking to lift it and was wondering what the best options are. I have 265/65r17s right now and I recently got new wheels. I had them rotated and flipped the white wall on the inside. Now they rub a good bit. I may want to run some 33s on it down the road but not sure. What would be the best option for some tire clearance? Im not trying to do anything too crazy. Thanks so much!

Several of us have installed the Lovells Springs with Bilstein shocks. Luso Overland keeps these in stock. There are also OME (old man emu) kits and Ironman.

All kits raise about 1.5-2 inches over stock. The ride gets much stiffer and there can be issues with CV angles.

You should also be able to fit 265/70r17 without rubbing. These can fit some 33s without rub. I would check that your stock suspension isn't sagging and that you aren't grabbing the fender liners. It could also be that the wheels don't have the same offset.
