Gen 3 Third Row Window Leak

Not exactly critical equipment on the vehicle, but every time it rains or I wash the truck...there is water on the inside of the cargo area. The side windows that straddle the optional third row seat seem to be leaking. Anyone have an idea here? There is extra play in the hinge latches on both sides, and that seems to be the culprit. Is there an adjustment I can make here? When in the open position, there is about a 1/2" of play in the window. In other words, if the window was open and we were going over bumps, it would rattle back and forth. I've never known the latches to just break down like this...hoping its just an adjustment. Thoughts?

Latch that doesn't seem to shut tight or open correctly:

Extra play here when open:

Part of the joy of an older car, is trying to get everything to work right. Normally small stuff like this I can live with, but it is actually getting wet inside the truck when it rains! Do I need a new latch??

Where is the movement coming from? Seems like the mounting bolt that connects the latch to the window may be loose. You probably need to compare it to the other side and see what's different / broken.

Okay so the way to fix this is to use a pair of pliers on the rubber mount on the outside of the window, while simultaneously running a screw driver around the D piller in your other hand. Latch window hinge was loose on both sides after 130K miles and snugged right up, no more rattle... It helps to have long arms or a nice pretty blond assistant to help ya out :ylsmoke:
