Your Blazer is looking good Steinez. Glad to see you have your tires sorted out. When are you leaving for your trip?:Wow1:

Found a problem today:

Problem is that i`m running out of time, since i`m working 12-14h a day and we`re leaving on thursday night. Wanted to fix it today but it took us about 4h to book those damn tickets to canada, so i think i`ll have to do it tomorrow. I think I`ll just cut the exhaust after the muffler...

Time for some rear wheel spacers. I am running 1.5" spacers on the rear, it looks way better. I am happy you got your tires fixed also, that one odd ball tire bothered me every time. LOL.

No problem with the muffler, it just looks like that on that picture...

Just came back from our italy trip. Trip report here: http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/threads/62082-Italy-Lago-di-Garda-Lago-di-Ledro

A few notes to the blazer:

Everything worked well, like it was designed to. On the passes the temps started raising, but at a bit more than 105°C the fan started blowing and the temp fell down to about 100°C. The it raised and so on... I think i`ll go with some electric fans...

The power connector for my cooler melted, so i wired it directly to the fuse block. Unfortunately i missed the battery saver, but wasn`t aware of that. My connector that charges the aux battery while driving also failed, so it didn`t get charged. So, the aux battery didn`t get charged and wasn`t protected by the battery saver. At sunday night i noticed the cooler slowing down and measured the voltage. It showed about 6V... :icon_doh: I just put the battery charger on, maybe it can rescue the battery...

Also the awning failed in the rainstorm friday night, but no problem, we`ll rebuild that thing stronger...
