GMRS install in a '24 F 350

Hello all, I am installing a midland GMRS radio in our new F350. Bolting it to the bottom tray is a very good place for it. Does anyone know the secret to getting that bottom tray out so that I can drill holes in it to attach the radio bracket and to run the power lines and coax? Thanks in advance.
