Lunchbox Lockers
I have seen that a common item in the GMT800 SUV threads is dealing with the crappy foam bumpstops which degrade every few years and in some cases even "disappear" during pretty normal usage.
I'd like to get some feedback from anyone that has used the Timbrens on one of these trucks.
I'm not really interested in them for the load carrying capacity, but as a progressive bump stop for the suspension during "spirited driving." I think that the front SES setup would work pretty good as-is. I don't think that they really change the ride quality dramatically from what I have read places like plowsite.
The rear Aeon springs in the rear SES kit are probably too long and stiff for my intended application. I found a chart here on the portal of the different springs available and will probably pick one that looks like it will work after I do a little more measuring.
I emailed Timbren and their response was "Sorry i don't have an off road bump stop for your truck." I was kinda expecting more support but whatever...
