Started this thread over at sportsmobile forum but thought the group here may want to follow. My 2006 E350 with a buds diesel built and bullet proof 6.0 burned an exhaust valve. Since it’s an engine out fix I’m following my own credo that if this motor ever had to come out it’s not going back in.
I bought a drop out Godzilla motor and 6r140 trans with no miles and the swap begins. 6.0 is coming out today and will get the valve fixed and new head gaskets both sides. It’s an amazing built motor and will be sold to offset. The 7.3 is getting aftermarket lifters and a Texas speed stage 1 truck cam. Engine management will be mars racing controls pack and a Dakota digital custom dash. Here is where we are.
