GoPro just released a remake of its popular HD Hero camera. The HD Hero2 features a new wider lens, more sensitive sensor, faster processor, and improved touchscreen interface. Movies are captured in full HD, aka 1080p. MSRP is $300 for the camera with your choice of helmet mount, vehicle mount, or waterproof mount.

The original Hero HD model will continue to be available at the reduced price of $200.

Thanks for the link.
I like my present GoPro HD very much, but with twice the pixel at 11 verses 5 it will worth the upgrade.
I will have to contact them to see if my present LCD backpack will work with it or not.

Did not get a chance to call them up yet to find out if my LCD will fit onto the new camera, but I ran across this video the other day filmed entirely on the same GoPro I have.
These GoPro HD cameras area really good.

By the way, I bought one of this Axial Wraith rock crawler/racers last week, was messing around it during the weekend.
Hottest rock crawler out on the market now for a RTR.

I bought one last time I was home- haven't really had a chance to play with it much other than mounting it in the truck for a short while. I bought the extra battery pack, the video back (can't use but one at a time) and several other accessories. I'd planned on getting the Hero but then broke down and spent the extra $100 for the Hero2. I plan on taking it with me to Laos next month when I go motorcycling. I've been reading up on it, trying to learn how to use it while I'm here on the oil rig. I mounted one of the curved mounts on my helmet and I brought the chest strap with me too.

I like those a lot, but wish there was a GPS feature like what Contour offers. Regardless, I may pony up the cash for the Motorsports edition, battery BacPac, 32 gb SD card and the StrikeMark picatinny mount.
