Go Treads

"Hi Matthew,
I'm Arne's son. He sent me your email thread so I could hop in and assist.

Thanks for promoting the GoTreads! We really appreciate it. I'm familiar with the back country camping and exploration. GoTreads are certainly a handy tool to take with! They of course don't fully take the place of the MAXTRAX but they can certainly augment them. It's a lot easier to get a GoTread under the seat of your Subaru than a MAXTRAX!

I always travel with a pair of GoTreads and they have gotten my Land Rover out of some messy situations quickly. They are small enough that I even have a set on my adventure bike. For the extreme off-road guys, I think they would be a well appreciated product both on and off the road. They are simple and effective and can be tucked away almost anywhere.

We can certainly organize a group buy for the forums. We are a small company and love working closely with people who show an interest in our product. We'll get a good discount figured out for everyone."

Woot!

I think they would be a great product to throw in the back of the car for those oh ******** moments. And as many of you know, when youre really stuck, its not ussually one item that gets you out, its a combination of many different tools. If I didnt have a full set of maxtrax, i would most certainly try them.

I was going to pull the trigger on some maxtrax before Christmas. Figured these would be easier to shuffle between cars for road trips. See how they work and decide on maxtrax or another set if these work alright. Mainly in snow for me.

Updated total for the weekend,

Wh1tenukle - 2
Ssyork - 2
TerryD - 2
warejn - 2
Total for ExPo - 8

Still waiting for the company to hand me some official numbers. I am looking to hand them an order for near 22 pairs of these puppies.

York, these things were built for snow, so they should work flawlessly. MaxTrax certainly work, but the pricetag... whew. Plus, you know, it is awesome to support Americans working as much as possible :D

Mo, I was all set to start saving for a maxtrax, or drilling into some more 2x4s, but my internetfu led me to these somehow.

Add me on for a pair. I think they would be good for my wife to have in her car for winter.

Would they be willing to have an ongoing forum code for us? That way some people can get them first as the guinea pigs and report back to the rest of us

I had not thought about that! I did invite the owners son to join us on the forum since he is into the backcountry travel stuff. I do not want to be too pushy, so I am waiting a few days before I pester them again. They did mention a test set that I would happily let the community as a whole test, since my roo is more a softroader, and can only trash so hard.

When they contact me, I will certainly suggest that! I think a large initial order would help support the idea of a constant forum discount code.

Also, can anyone forward me to the rules on group buys, if there are such things here. I can not seem to find any.

Another set, and we will be at a total of twenty between the two forums. sweetness.
