I'm trying to convince the wife that it's worth the road trip. She's about 23% right now.

If you've never been to Moab, go! It is spetacular. There is so much to explore. It's a great little town with some great places to eat.

That's part of my sell to my wife. We backpacked through the GC (Monument Point to Tapeat's Creek to Deer Creek back to Tapeat's then out spread out over five days) and we've wanted to get back out that way ever since. This would be a great way to do that again.

Plus, I'd get to go wheeling.

Just take her to Arches Natl Park just outside of town. It's really beautiful and there is some good wheeling within the park. Get a tour book that tells of the history to make it more interesting.
