Good Winter Tent on the large side?

UK4x4, thanks for your feedback, not sure those tents would fit the bill, but they could.

Shearpin, awesome link, I've never seen those, I like them a whole lot. I currently have a self-made sil-nylon tarptent that I use during nicer/dry weather myself, the benefits of a nice material like that can be great, and the addition of a stove is cool. I can't locate a price on their site, but the 8 or 12 man tent would be HUGE for the four of us. Thanks again. (Found pricing, the 6 man tent is $900 and the small stove is an additional $300. WOW! I can buy silnylon fabric for about $4 a yard shipped. I've sewn it before, I think I could make a decent knock-off and a good fly for less than $100 in material)

mk4, thank you for your feedback on that tent, I have actually been leaning very heavily that direction. I can get the midsize for less than $200, and the large one for slightly over that. I like the fact that It can hook up to the truck, I could put the dogs into the jeep and they'd be "with us" but I could keep them out of the way and behind a hard structure. One of my dogs could potentially break through a tent wall if she really wanted to get a deer or something else that caught her attention, and keeping her in the jeep would ensure she wouldn't bolt. Glad you like yours, hard to find any serious reviews of them. Also neat to see your stove setup!
