New Nissan Frontier Off-Road Package Costs $10,000

The off-road package draws inspiration from a truck that recently won the NORRA 500.

Is this NISMO-NORRA upgrade worth the extra $10k?

It well could be, considering the much lower the entry cost is to get into a 4 x 4 Frontier, compared to the MSRP’s of other midsize trucks. 🤔

(from the article)
“Nissan wants in on the off-road trend for its new Frontier, but than go to NISMO as it typically would, Nissan is actually taking a page from a recent racing success.

It has announced a brand new off-road edition for the Frontier called Nissan Frontier Forsberg Edition, inspired by its NORRA 500 win.

The centerpiece of the Forsberg Edition is an off-road package that’s dealer installed. The package was born after Nissan’s recent collaboration with Forsberg Racing that won it a 2023 NORRA 500 win in the stock production class category.

Thanks to its tried and true racing roots, that means this package isn’t just an appearance package, either. It actually has the off-road chops to back up its beefy appearance.

The package can be applied to any new or used (2022 at the latest) Frontier. You get NISMO off-road suspension with high performance shocks and forged upper control arms, 17-inch Axis Beadlock wheels, a roof rack with integrated lighting, rock sliders, 265/70R17 Yokohama Geolandar X-AT tires, and a NISMO cat-back exhaust. Of course, this is all topped off by Forsberg Racing decals and a Forsberg Racing Limited Edition badge.”

That's maybe 6k-7k in aftermarket upgrades MAX.

My guess is we will be seeing these on the lots within a year for "below MSRP" stickers on them.

Value is definitely in the stickers.

Actually, the packages start at $0; add dirt.
New tires on stock wheels help- $1000-1200
OME suspension, better than good, $1500 + install
or just upgrade to factory full-size truck parts for a 3" lift and crazy travel $3000+ install-- move out of "decently capable off-road" to a totally different class--
No stickers required.
