Well I finally ran into my new vehicle. It's a little bruised and battered but that's ok. Gonna get me through summer here in Jackson and then the repairs will slowly begin.

cheers

BEAUTY BROTHER!!!!!!!!!!!! All these awesome 60's coming out of the wood-work lately are making me crazy. This should be a great rig for getting gear out to the river eh mate. I know even my little 22RE powered 4Runner will haul ALOT of dry bags and a few Rafts so these 60's are down-right CAVERNOUS comapred. Loving it. Nice find eh.

I swear a nice FJ62 w/ a 3FE/H55F or 4BT/NV5600 swap would make for an amzing truck for me too, I just feel bad, if only my 4Runner knew what I was up to in here on the interwebs...

Cheers

Thanks for the compliments David. When I saw it for sale I knew I couldn't resist. It's gonna be a lot of fun to own. It chugs right along and it's quite a character. Don't be cheating on your 22r :sombrero:

OT- I always find it crazy that the SNAKE R. is in Wyoming!!!!! To us N.westerners the Snake divides oregon Washington adn Idaho and it just blows my mind to think it starts so far south...

Coincidentaly...I will be running the Snake from Hells Canyon Dam down to whatever bar. unlike the last time we ran it early season and had to row to Asotin with about 6-7 River miles of complete FROG WATER... and i swear the wind was blowing us BACk up river....hated the end to that trip.

Anywho, back OT :D I swear since yesterday when I saw your post I must have seen like 20 other great looking 60's running around and more then a few of the were for sale...I felt like the Super Turtle KNEW I was looking at them....just like when Whit thinks I'm checking out girls on the sidewalk... Odly enough most of the time I'm looking at trucks :D HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I think the 60ser might just be the perfect rafting truck. Lot of room for gear, lots of aftermarket suport adn enough engine swap options to really do anything with it from Crawl to haul. It's got enough W/B to tow a usefull trailer IMO compared to say a 40ser... Anyway, I'm loving all these 60's poping up everywhere, gives me hope that I might stumble on one that I can't pass up...Thing Is I LOVE my 1st Gen...I just love driving it. Reminds me of being out on property in Australia litteraly EVERY day I get in it. I bet the 60 series would do the same thought to eh ;)

I'm rambling...I'll shut up now...

Cheers

Dave
