Wow looks like you are pretty hardcore, refilling with gas and everything.

lol you don't have to be hardcore to use jerry cans. i use my water can wayyy more than my gas can to clean off and what not, but having 5 extra gallons of fuel lets you spend that much more time out in the middle of nowhere.

i've never driven a long enough trail to need my gas can for long range, but i've used mine driving in circles looking for snakes lol.

Yeah - the comfort factor of knowing that its there and not having to spend the Borrego Springs price for gas is a nice bonus.

everglades city is no different. the only gas station for about 90 miles LOL. the friggin prices suck. and if a hurricane watch is on? you're looking at $5-6 for premium LOL.

peace of mind is why i got my cans. the water can is basically for me and the dog in emergencies OR if i or someone else overheat, at least we could put some water into the radiator to limp home.

Added the lamp guards before I deployed to Japan. Had to drop the roof rack as well to get it in the garage.
