I was very unhappy with the Airbags and Daystar combo on the trail. The air bags just don't allow the up travel i wanted even when empty and the Daystar cradle being as thick as they are just made it worse. The Daystar cradles did allow the axle to drop away as advertised. It takes all of 30 min to put them in and take them out so I just place them in for towing.

I like that the springs are going to work for you.

Finally got some stiffer springs from Carli suspension they should work great.

So you replaced your original Carli springs with a stiffer variant? Or are they just taller springs to cancel out the sagging?

I didn't know they made more than one spring rate for the ram.

I talked to Dan at carli they have rear springs that are +2 and stiffer for heavier loads. Great guy to work with.

Well last night was exciting. I have been looking for a better storage solution for a while. I had seen that a few guys run decked/ truck vault with their flippacks and thought i would give it a try.

The directions were pretty straight forward, easy installation. Seems quite durable, time will tell!

Kind of built like ikea, but feels quite strong.
The "ammo cans" have a good amount of storage, and the lids can be flipped and used as cup holders.

The drawers are super smooth. Overall seems like great quality, time will tell how it holds up to off road abuse. I have a few accessories coming in today more photos to come.

I like it! That Decked setup looks wonderful.

Do you think there is enough thickness in the top of the Decked system to bolt an ARB fridge slide out cradle to it, and it still be secure?

Yes definitely i ordered some A track (they call them core track) from decked and when installed properly to the 1x1 galvanized frame they have 500lb capacity.
You can see the galvanized framing.

Did a quick 1 nighter out to carrizo plane. Got to try out the decked system, we like it a lot so far. Also carrizo plane is a sweet area, definitely need to do more exploring out that direction. Camped at shelby ranch cow camp.

Wednesday to sunday we took a trip out to toroweap overlook and Whitmore canyon. We did about 200 miles offroad, with a little bit of everything. Great trip, the decked system worked great, unfortunately my brothers 4runner broke a front shock, looks like coilovers are in his future.
