Well at the present discount, it's cheaper for you to buy 11 at $52 which comes to $572 vs. $590.

Yup, that's how discounting generally works, the more you buy the cheaper the price/unit! Does this mean you are interested?:costumed-smiley-007

No, no, although I like the Stauns, I already have a set of Smittybilt deflators. I was just pointing out why buy 10 @59 when it's cheaper to buy 11 @52 and divide the cost over 10 people. The price then is $57 per person. Oh and then you can send me the 11th. Hahaha. :bike_rider:

We may just do that! and have an extra set, but I think we can get 11 people or more if we are just patient enough to wait.:costumed-smiley-007

I am thinking if we got more, we might get a bigger discount, so keep 'em coming!:costumed-smiley-007

Sorry for the earlier confusion. The switch from Forum names to real ones left me behind....

I would still ike to jump on board and get one of the sets.

I am in, just let me know when and who gets the $$$. This i sa set of 4, right? I read the entire thread, but still no clarifaction which ones.

These, right: http://www.4wheelparts.com/prodDetail.aspx?partno=STNSCV5 but a diffrent vendor.

No they are not the HD ones as per your link. But yes there are four brass deflators in the set with a pouch and instructions (have added a photo just to be clear). The title in Post #1 describes them as well post # 11 (red section), and post #14, hope that clears things up! Let me know if you change your mind, but for now you are on the list. BTW: Clint (007) will coord the funds ($$) and mailing address and contact info. :costumed-smiley-007

I normally run my tires at above 30psi on the street, so when I air down, the starting PSI is higher than the 30. Is this a problem for these deflators since their range is 6-30?

Good question Robert. My tires are also above 30 psi (40+). The pressure you run your tires at normally is not affected by which pressure range Staun you get. The pressure range of the Staun deflator, should be in the range you wish to deflate to when doing say, sand, wash boards, rocky trails, etc. to improve your traction and smooth out your ride. This group buy is for the most common Staun Deflator and most common range of use: 6-30 psi.

The 6-30 psi range (as well as others) allows you to pre-set the deflator for what ever pressure you wish to deflate down to within that range. You can set all of them to the same pressure setting so they all deflate to say 15 psi (or lower) for a sand dune run. Or you can set two at one pressure for sand and 2 for a different setting for say rocky bumpy roads.

Hope that explains it OK. If you need more details, let me know or check out the Staun website. :costumed-smiley-007
