ERIC has
2000 WAGON.
1994 HMC4 with 138K miles

you might want to take the 2000 so we all have more simular powertrains? plus sleeping inside when its cold out is better ;)

it used to be 138k miles ;) it just passed 149k this week , i can also bing my 95 wagon but thats also non turbo. i dont see why not bring the turbo wagon, but then i may be envy at Rons 4 ft pick up bed haha

15 days can be done but 3 weeks will be very nice so we can enjoy the trip, i will have senior geologist from us government with me, a tv camera peson, and may be my girl, so roof tent will be on the truck regardless.

hey Ron ur boy will have so much fun and amazing memoryes if u bring him with us, ur truck is made for him with a nice middle seat ,and no school summer time :)

hhhmmm... What will the others sleep in? A friend of mine has an 18ft dia geodesic (sp?) dome with AC!!! We might be bringing that. I just don't want any hotel rooms. Maybe we could shack up with some HML'ers???

With that many people you might want the 2000 wagon LOL!!!

Are we going to run Bio Diesel? More Eco and 6.5's love it...

What section do you want to post the thread in on EXPO? Also we need to nail down a duration and a time frame. We need to get ourselves organized before we put it on the HML. Or we will be riddled with questions.

I won't be able to do anything like this until next spring/summer. I have too much to do to my truck to get ready and no time to do it in! I leave for a job in NY in 5 weeks.

I guess i am more limited by my time. 2 week trip is about as much as i can push it without a week of work intermission if you will.

Wow, I am so glad that I have a crappy old 404 and didn't buy that Humvee (yes I know the difference) when I had the chance (but still really want). Every vehicle on the planet (I owned a very capable Lada Niva as my first 4X4) has a reason for production and if it works for you it works...:coffee:

i am glad you got that old thing, and i hope ur old truck ventures in very deep forests and hills as much as our hummers do,
and interestingly while many ppl seat at home talking **** about hummers, our hummers are out there playing :) thats priceless

Funny, when I was at Mt Lassen last year (when not sitting on my seat talking **** about hummers:)), I didn't see all that water you show in the first pics. Where is that? It rained a lot when we drove through the park, but not THAT much!
