Is there anyone else who is bothered by posting their call sign?

What bothers me about it is that it gives your GPS coordinates to everyone. Combine that with the call for going on expeditions, and a thief knows when you are away and for how long and where to go and that you probably have some other cool stuff at home if you have an expedition rig.

Maybe I'm paranoid? But I remember about 6 years ago when someone subscribed the Land Cruiser Assistance Club and then used it for a shopping list to go through Idaho.

Very legitimate concern. In my situation, my house is pretty much always occupied. No matter who's on vacation :) That's the nice part of having a large family

Agreed, it is a concern.... but we are considered a public service and therefore our info must be public. And people are always home where I live too.
