Gary, I'm pretty sure a CB/FRS is not a legal possibility. I'm reading through the CFRs now...

While a mobile radio would functionally difficult. A handheld CB and FRS radio in would would be pretty easy. It would be legal to create such a radio, You still have to be type accepted and certified by the FCC. The MURS radio are specifically noted in code not to be combined with another radio service, but CB, FRS and GMRS are not.

You're killing me. Would you be implying that you can mod a 2m radio to transmit on CB frequncies?!?!?!

Just add a transverter.
