I am considering between the Hankooks and Chuck's Maxxis, he mentions lower noise then his Geolanders, so I am trying to decide between the two tires for my 4Runner on a 265/70-17" tire size, any suggestions or comments other then the load range between this two tires!

Mine aren't for sale. The noise thing could just be in my head, they seem less noisy than the Geos, but they are still a MT and you hear me coming down the road for sure.

Ok. time to order the tires, I will order these tires, however i read how a mud tire is not good for deep sand, any thruth to it? Also would the E load be overkill for my 4runner? It is a 3 side ply tire!
Your tought before I make the purchase...

Now remember these tires will be used 80% hwy and 20% off-road in very remote areas, and the vehicle is not an every day driver, mainly for exploretion trips.

I went to order the tires at Discount, and they are in back order.

I found these tires on ebay; your thoughts.
Seems like a taller narrow tire, however the price is great.

255 is the width alot of us seem to be using. Although not as tall as a 255/85 these should work great in the feild. I say go for it.
