Not in N.A.... At least that I've read/heard/seen/can remember LOL!
I know overseas, people have done all sorts upgrades.
What I have seen in the US are folks upgrading the engines with superchargers, twin turbos, the 4.3l chevy v6, but I don't recall a v8.... Also check 4x4wire for a more active mitsu tech community.
