It is difficult to please everyone but something that I would like to see are two compartments. Think a symmetrical divider down the middle. One side could be used for trash and one could be used for recovery gear/etc.

I'm also liking Howling Moon's offering, with the PVC coating. Seems like I can sanitize it easier and it wont stink as bad as the cloth... and it wont absorb water like the cloth.
put a zipper on that divider and then it can return to being a big bag!

i love mine, although ive used mine more for transporting bedding than for hauling trash. that will change with my next long trip (only been on a few day trips so far)

I like the original, and someday I may buy one. I don't plan to spend more than fifty bucks for anything similar.

If this isn't the thread to ask this question, then please point me the right direction.

Has anyone come up with some creative ways to use the Trasharoo when you DON'T have a spare tire on the back of the rig?

We have come to using disposable "compactor bags" (very thick and strong) and then strapping them to the roof with bungee cords. We have one for garbage, one for recyclables.

--Doesn't work well for a quick stop on the trail...we stop...but have to put the garbage somewhere inside.
--Arriving home every time I find soda/beer/funk splattered on my roof...fun...

I love everything about the Trasharoo...but the philosophy the best! HELP CLEAN UP OUR TRAILS AND FORESTS!!! I am all for that, but need a good method to mount it on a 100 series cruiser that does not have a tire carrier.

Ideas?

This would be a great product line expansion for Trasharoo! You could hit the huge market of non-tire-carrier wheelers! You may not even have to modify your product...just provide creative methods for consumers to USE the product in different ways.

Yes, what he said! I also do not have a spare tire on the back, but was considering using the original trasharoo on my roof mounted spare tire mostly just for carrying my camp grill, stove burner and grill tools who wants to smell a smokey grill inside of the vehicle on long drives. Those are all light weight items that can ride on the roof without throwing the center of gravity off much. Will your products work on a roof mounted tire? Also you could consider straps and hooks similar to what bike racks use for attaching to the rear of a vehicle? Just an idea. I look forward to purchasing your product
