Heated seats kit (carbon fiber)

Since it's a cold cold month, I wanted to put in an aftermarket heated seats for the wife's car. Just wondering if any of your here have installed an aftermarket system.

I searched and found a few "carbon fiber" heated seat kits and covers. Supposedly, they're better than the wire kind, since these won't break. The kits seem to run from $60-$100.

Any experiences? Also, I am wondering if I should get a seat cover type or actually take the seat apart and install it.

There are a few CF kits on ebay for ~$60 that you actually stick on the underside of the seat fabric.
