**DING **DING [In this corner... weighing in at 10,220 lbs.... a 1993 Landcruiser. ... . ]
By the way those are "Super Heavies" 864's out back that normally ride level on regular trips
On our latest support trip in the desert. We supplied 10 rigs and 20 people water, ice, fuel, firewood, and whatever else was needed *(lots of beer) for 4.5 days in the middle of nowhere. That on top of what we normally carry, pullpal, two drawers of recovery gear, Fridge in the 80 fully loaded, 2) 250 lbs drivers, all our gear etc. Each day we'd re-stock while the group ran overland through the desert and meet at a selected new base camp each night.
That weight is a combined total with the Horizon trailer. Both fully loaded. Trailer was carrying 30 gallons of water, 5 lbs of propane, whatever was loaded into the ARB Fridge and 10 bundles of firewood.
During and after the trip, the 80 was inspected for any cracks or stress. None could be found. But we can't verify the frame is still perfect < Joke
Also fully loaded i drove very careful, kept my speed down (sometimes not on purpose) and didn't make any sudden moves. I'll put it this way, if something were to pull out in front of the road at the last minute, we'd be going through it. Even with the electric brakes on the trailer.
Anyways, figured i'd share.
