Hella performance 2.0 headlight bulbs (h13). A nice upgrade.

I just installed a set of hella performance 2.0s in my patriot. A noticeable increase in output and overall beam pattern. For the money, they are a nice upgrage for the H13 bulb. I put them right up there with the phillips xtreme powers I ran in my JK before the truck lites. A really good upgrade.

I don't know if where they are pumping out a bit more light, the width seems better...could be that...but yes I agree the beam pattern should not have changed...wrong wording.

Had the pat out last night for the first REAL test of the lights. THey are a major improvement over the stock bulbs. Cleaner light, if that's is a way to describe it. and just more overall light output. I am very pleased with these bulbs compared to the stock sylvanias.

I've read 50/50 mixed reviews on upgrading the bulbs. Most say go LED's, but they are 4-5x's more $$ depending on what you go with.

I think I will give the bulbs a shot. Anything better than original equipment is worth the $$ in my opinion.

I would never put LED into a halogen housing. they work like crap in there. no distance in the beam at all.

How long of a life are these bulbs supposed to have, usually upgraded bulbs only last a year or so. WJ's can be a pain because you have to be careful not to break the housing mounting tabs. But would sure like to have better lighting.

They are rated at 140 hrs burn time. I am not sure how much you use the lights. But I guess they will last as long as the factory sylvanias.
