...si asi estan los precios alla, nos conviene mas comprar un Patrol que un Hilux...Aqui estan por las nubes los YD61 y los LC 80 debido a los impuestos. Aqui un LC 200 te cuesta casi un cuarto de millon de dolares.


Yeeezzzz, aca el LC200 no ha llegado , solo el Lexus LX570 :elkgrin:

Well holy shiz...Its JP. I used to spend way too much time over at the 4x4parts forum when JP was going through some trials and tribulations with a turbo'd Hardbody 4x4....a very cool project. Nice to see ya here JP. This place stays a little more civil than what you might be used to over at the other boards....a great place for people who actually USE their rigs instead of just bench racing them.

Great looking truck you have there.

-Bordeando la ribera sur del Gral Carrera (350 Kmt de tierra), esta es la parte mas alta del camino , con precipicios y vistas impresionantes ..

-Mismo camino sacando foto para atras, si ven con cuidado en la mitad de la foto viene la L200 , para que vean la escala humana y lo grande que era esto ....

-Mismo camino, barrera contra rodados, el calculo estructural estuvo aca al limite. Es una montaña de unos 2000 mts casi recta que hay para arriba ..

-Caida de pedazo de hielo, en la noche desde el camping, se escucha el ruido, y eso que es una caminata como de 2 horas para arriba.

Hi there Spency, so much time my dear friend, sine the 4x4parts BBS !! Oh yes, those were good times (some grief also) with the Turbo Hardbody, then it went SAS , engine swap and finally sold it :) ... I have this Patrol , as you see the TONS of pics here , to travel with my family , thanks a lot for your warm welcome man, always nice to find friends around a new place... :wings:

Seriously - wow. Those are some great pics of what I can only assume were great trips.

Thanks a lot , there is some nice nature in southern Chile ... the best part, we ain't got critters, grizzlies, volwes, snakes, lions, rhinos, etc. so you can camp on the absolute wild without any fear. Cheers.-

Hey JP, awesome truck, awesome scenery. I was north of you in Peru in September, some of those shots of the gravel road switching back and forth up the mountain with a long drop on the other side are very familiar. Chile looks prettier than the part of Peru we were in, however it was still pretty nice. Ciao.
