Hello from Southern Va

Hey been lurking here a little while ,studying on doing something bigger . Ive been offroading since I was 13 when I bought my first truck .About 6 years ago I bought a 62 cj5 and built it up a little and started doing a bit of rock crawling and trail riding . This winter I plan on pulling it in the shop and building old school version 2.0 , adding a cage , swapping the 72hp F134 hurricane for a TBI 4.3 with a SM420 and various upgrades . Im also building a trailer this winter , Ill post up the design once I finish it to let yall look for ways to improve it . Then Im hoping in the next 2 years I can take a cross country trip offroad /backroads hitting the major trail areas with the family in ow .

Thanks , Yeah I guess you could consider it recycled ... Ive always looked at it as a well worn pair of jeans . I cant wait to get her where she will do 60 again lol It would when I first redid it but tire size and many miles of hard driving have took its toll . Its not as comfy as alot of yalls rigs on here and it lacking storage space but I pack light and it is pretty light weight , 2600 pounds so its a bit easier on parts and the trail .
