Help - Trailer Build question service body and ? trailer frame

Hi all,

I am debating building a trailer with a service/utility bed placed upon a trailer. Unfortunately I have just moved from Texas to the DC area and no longer have a garage or access to friends with welders and fabrication equipment.

So my question is, can I purchase a service bed and place it on a military trailer and if so which one would be the best(easiest) bolt on to purchase? I am looking at towing this trailer behind either a full size truck or a mid sized SUV and will be looking for an aluminium utility body built for a single whel truck.

Id second the M101 frame, Its just big and flat.

Good luck finding an Aluminum body..... Ive been looking for a long time with no luck locally.

I concur on the M101.
Or think outside the box and get something like this:

Its super cheap, enclosed, and has a free diesel motor. I would be on this if I hadn't already bought Project Speedy.

2W-M116A2 frame same one used under a 101A2 trailer
Get the A2 or A3 with surge brakes, Parking brakes and 8 x 6.5 bolt pattern wheels.
