Hodakaguy: There is a direct access set of electrical terminals under the drivers seat called the “EK1” so you don’t have to make a connection to the battery next time.
Keen to see what you'll come up with! If it's gonna be as clean as your Tacoma it's gonna be pretty awesome!
When you say VW Syncro, do you mean 4WD Vanagon? Because the 4WD Eurovans are certainly capable of higher speeds and they're just as robust. Just not sure if you got them in the states...
Awesome! Can’t wait to see the build. Always fun to watch yours. This time I actually have a 144 Sprinter and might get some ideas.
Quick question. Wondering why the choice of a Sprinter instead of maybe a Transit with Quigley conversion? We love our Sprinter but I do wonder about future maintenance costs, etc. if I were doing a conversion now I might choose a gas Transit so interested to hear your Sprinter opinion.
I have a low top, same color as yours and I love it. Getting ready to add solar. Does anyone know if I need to run my solar wiring all the way up to the aux battery under the hood, or can I just tap into to the large wires under the drivers seat?

Clean installation, as always.
On a side note. What bending brake, if any, are you using in your shop?
I realize this little project was a simple bend that could easily be done in a vise but I just thought I’d ask.
